Glen Close is not only known for her countless Oscar roles, but also as an advocate for ending stigma and discrimination of mental illness. Glen’s sister Jesse Close was diagnosed Bi Polar much later in life, but struggled her whole childhood with numerous suicide attempts. As a family, Glen, Jessie, and her nephew Calen Close founded “Bring Change 2 Mind.” Incredible organization with High school platforms and programs to help teens who struggle with mental illness find their voice.
